Conceptualized iland collaborative residency proposal with Dana Strasser, Cooper Union alum. Our proposal was for a balloon-scape interjected into a public space as a community event. This environment in the urban context of New York City provides a universal experience to its participants. It is an escape from traffic and hurried life to a simple childhood joy, playing with a balloon. This balloon surface while temporal and delicately linked together creates a solid image for those who experience it.
