Location: New Orleans, LA
Managed a four unit sustainable housing development in New Orleans, part of the Faubourg St. Roch Project. Responsible for all drawings from schematic through design development phases. Research and co-ordination of innovative sustainable technologies, including passive thermal engine (replacing a standard mechanical system), integrated green roofing and drainage system, and recycled/salvaged materials. Due to its non-profit nature, project required on-going solicitation to vendors for donations of goods, services, and monetary contributions. Also required coordination with local and national profits to secure partners in volunteer construction or artisan labor.
