Managed 2200 sq ft project from design development to construction. Client came to architect seeking a modern, yet industrial residence, prompted by the purchase of a former mechanic's garage. A constant concern has been the new building's response to its own charming street surroundings and larger changing neighborhood. The heart of the house is the courtyard, surrounded by glass lites on three sides. Two sides are completely operable allowing the entire space to be permeable from living room through the rear of the house. Currently in construction.
